October 2 - November 4, 2008 Susan Woltz Gallery is honored to present the works of Italian Glass Master, Pino Signoretto who will be exhibiting with fellow Italian, Pino Cherchi. Pino Signoretto opened his glass studio in 1978 in Murano. His training however, began when he was very young and in 1960 he was given the title "Maestro". He has worked with Dali, Wilson, Vercruysse, Koons, Kiki Smith, Dale Chihuly and Timo Sarpaneva. Pino Cherchi, originally from Venice, Italy is well known for his combinations of glass and metal. His work, often kinetic, is designed with color and motion reflective of architectural forms. The exhibit will disply work that was created in Pilchuck Glass Art School where Maestro Signoretto taught this summer. Gallery Winter Hours: T - S 11:00 - 5:00 Closed Sunday Monday by Appointment |
